Capturing the Chapter You’re In


If you’re anything like me (and most parents), you probably take a million pictures of your kids. But with so many, they just become digital noise — lost in your camera roll, rarely appreciated.


What I love about our family photo sessions is the intention behind them. It’s a planned moment to slow down, be together, and capture who we are that year — without needing to be the one behind the camera. I get to fully enjoy that time with my family, knowing these memories are being beautifully documented.


After the session, I always make sure the photos don’t just sit on a screen. Whether it’s printing a few favorites, creating an album, or just flipping through them together — we revisit those memories often. And honestly? My kids are the ones who pull them out the most. They’ll quietly study every photo… or ask a million questions.

(Did you know that seeing printed photos of themselves helps kids feel a stronger sense of belonging? It shows — their faces light up every time.) That’s the joy my family gets from our session — and I’m convinced everyone deserves that.


It’s fun. It’s easy. And (in my opinion) really important.
